Welcome to Kent Foundation's Blog!

This is Kent Foundation's first attempt at a blog. The company started in 1985 as a means of helping young people get into business - and over the years it's been a roaring success.

The Kent Foundation will be holding It's a Blast, a major event for young Entrepreneurs in March 2012. The hope is the foundation can prove that it holds an integral part in the support of young people.

When children leave school they normally have three options:

• To stay on in education - go to university
• To get a job (which is not so easy in this day and age)
• Or simply become unemployed - which sadly is on the up and up

Well with Kent Foundation there is now a fourth choice:

• Become a entrepreneur - start your own business

With the Kent Foundation's help it's easier then it may seem, and with advice and directions on where to go you could soon be one of Kent's leading companies.
